Narayanan Nair Educational Trust’s Sharada English School was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing quality education to the students in the vicinity of Kalyan East. The school was started in a rented space in Katemanevli with a strength of 32 students.The school was started by Smt. Girija Ramesh Pillay who is an entrepreneur in the field of IT industry having vast experience in the field of education. Today she is heading the school as the CEO cum Principle. It is capable of catering to the needs of about 1200 students, right from Std. I to XII. But as we have come under KDMC our capacity to accommodate students will rise to 7500 students.Today the school has established its infrastructure with a science laboratory, a computer laboratory, auditorium, a library, audio – visual room, art & craft rooms and music room. Sharada school also boasts of a swimming pool, children’s park and a skating ring. Presently we have students studying from playschool up to Std.VIII. In the year 2016-17 we will be starting our secondary and higher secondary classes as we have permission from the government of Maharashtra from std.I to std.XII.
Through the School programmed we wish to create the future leaders of India who have in them the traditional values for which our country is well-known and at the same time are able embrace modern technology to take India to greater heights of progress and development.

Enable pupils to make the best use of space and learning resources. Are organized so that pupils have suitable access to learning resources of good quality. Reflect the current areas of study of the National Curriculum, including literacy and numeracy. Contain high quality, stimulating and interactive visual aids which celebrate pupils’ achievements and which help them with the work in hand so that they attempt to solve problems for themselves. Engage and encourage pupils’ learning by promoting a sense of pride in their own achievements and the achievements of others. Enable pupils to use ICT to enhance their learning across all areas of the curriculum.
